		<description><![CDATA[I use data from the American Community Survey regularly to teach doctoral students how to use real data to answer questions, for example, are African-American women with more education less likely to get married than those without a college education. (Answer by the way, is no, they are  more likely to be married if they have a college degree). I use ACS to prepare presentations to teach middle school students about statistics, for example, the percentage of people who say they are of more than one race. I cannot fathom what the Republicans have against it. Yes, by the way, I own a small business - a consulting company - and I have been in business 27 years.]]></description>
